Sprint is in
a distant third-place among the major U.S. carriers, but the company is working
hard to improve its standing in terms of 4G LTE availability. Sprint announced
that it has begun work in an additional 28 markets, which puts the carrier close
to 200 markets that it expects to have 4G LTE available to consumers by the end
of the year. Following the trend of previous announcements, the latest cities
added to the list are in small markets spread through the South, Midwest, and
Northeast regions of the U.S. The list of cities includes:
